Costume - Seras Victoria

Seras Victoria - Hellsing.
Made for myself for Bristol International Comic Expo 2008.
Took around 2-3 days to complete made from cotton and lycra. Work included dying both the pre-bought shirt and skirt and making the stockings. The shirt and skirt were changed by removing the cuffs, adding epilets, belt loops and another pocket, shortening the skirt, adding an extra button hole and more buttons. The footless stockings were made and attached to the skirt using clear bra straps and the patches were made from felt and embroidered.

This was my first attempt at moding rather than making from scratch due to the short time period I had, it was also the first time I've made a costume for myself and not someone else. Aside from the slight colour difference in the skirt and shirt that was caused from the dye taking differently on the different fabrics I'm pretty happy with this and enjoyed wearing it.

Also pictured is my fiance as Dark Walter. Mostly bought just for ease, the gloves, belts and shoulder straps were made myself along with a monocle not pictured.
